…As the saying goes among doctors! I am an ophthalmologist, and my wife is a pediatrician. We have been on the same hospital staff with Dr. Maxwell for over 20 years. He has always been there for us. He is the “go-to” doctor when you need an expert medical opinion or preventive medicine. We are proactive about our health and he has helped us greatly. For that same 20 year period, he has been the only doctor on our staff who still finds time to make house calls. Very kind, compassionate and caring…with a wonderful sense of humor!

Dr. Maxwell saved my life by diagnosing a heart condition which I had all my life, but had gone undiagnosed. My symptoms caused shortness of breath, and several doctors told me I had asthma. IT’S WORTH THE WAIT!

Yes, sometimes you have to wait a week or so to get an appointment and once you arrive, you may have to sit a while in the waiting room, but it’s definitely worth it. This is the best quality care I have received in my entire life. I’m a pretty healthy person, but several family members of mine have serious medical problems that went undiagnosed by other physicians for many years and once I got them to switch to Dr. Maxwell, they were quickly on the road to good health. He diagnosed the problems, got them to the proper specialists, and they are not enjoying better health than they had in many years as a result of Dr. Maxwell’s knowledgeable care.

WELL WORTH THE DRIVE (2 HRS!)

Doctor Maxwell is not your ordinary family doctor. He is quite the best! He is great at family medicine, but he also does natural treatments like chelations, vitamins & minerals, etc. He uses natural but also uses traditional–best of both worlds, in my opinion. I drive down from Columbus to see him (& Dr. M is outside of Cincinnati). I have family in the Dayton area, and they drive down to see him as well. Well worth the trip!

COMING FROM KNOXVILLE TO CINCINNATI WAS WORTH IT!

After suffering for 3 years from what several doctors had labeled as chronic fatique, fibromyalgia and irritable bowel syndrome, I decided to see Dr. Maxwell. TEN STARS FOR DR. MAXWELL!

For about 7 years, I worked in a now closed chemical plant. We were not told what chemicals we were disposing of, and no safety measures were used…which is why the plant was closed. After working there, my health deteriorated to the point where I walked with a cane at the age of 32. Most days I was not able to get out of bed. I had always been very active and athletic. I now had multiple severe neurological and orthopedic symptoms. I saw over 30 specialists in 7 years… often traveling out of state to do this. I was totally disabled. Most of the doctors thought it was all in my head and I needed to see a psychiatrist. Some of the doctors thought I had been exposed to something but didn’t know where to start. Others said I could not be helped and had to live with it. After reading an article about Dr. Maxwell, I decided to make an appointment in September 2011. It was the best decision of my life. DR. MAXWELL CURED ME!

Dr. Maxwell has been my physician for about 20 years. Ten years ago I made an appointment with him because I was feeling tired all the time. That was my only symptom. His initial physical exam, blood work, urinalysis, x-rays and EKG all looked fine. At that point, I believe most doctors would stop looking, and think it’s all in your head, or you are depressed, etc. Never one to give up, he looked, and found, a rare protein in my urine. He told me that, in spite of all the normal tests, he felt that I had multiple myeloma. Dr. Maxwell referred me to an oncologist/hematologist who SPECIALIZES in MM (for about 30 years!). The specialist reviewed all the tests and said he thought I did NOT have multiple myeloma as I “didn’t fit the symptoms.” He said the lab result was probably “a false positive or fluke.” He wrote Dr. Maxwell a letter stating this. Dr. Maxwell called the doctor to ask him to consider performing a bone marrow biopsy, which he agreed to. Bingo! It was positive for multiple myeloma. The specialist said “Dr. Maxwell is right again!” Early intervention began with both traditional medicine and advanced integrative/nutritional therapy with Dr. Maxwell. Today, 10 years later, I am cancer free thanks to Dr.Maxwell’s “never give up” attitude. He is more than my doctor…he is a trusted friend. I am proud to say my husband, parents, children and grandchildren are also patient of his.

There are not enough words to describe Dr.Maxwell. After years of suffering under the care of some of the city’s “so called specialists”, as a last resort, I visited Dr.Maxwell. Initially, I was only impressed by Dr.Maxwell’s bedside manner and the caring attitude displayed by his nursing staff. While his “bedside manner” is a wonderfully refreshing experience, I soon found that Dr.Maxwell’s true talents lie in his ability to correctly diagnose and treat….even long hidden conditions. Dr.Maxwell has an uncanny ability to “read between the lines”, and “cut thru the bullsh*t”! I could not recommend Dr.Maxwell more highly. After nearly 30 years of being misdiagnosed to the point where I was barely able to walk or perform simple daily tasks…I have my life back. I can now walk again, I can dance again, I can function on an almost normal level again. What can I say except, making that first appointment with Dr.Maxwell a few months ago, was the best decision I ever made!

Dr. Maxwell discovered, and cured, a medical problem I had suffered from for over 20 years…in just two visits. I had seen 7 other doctors over this time period with no success. I only wish I had met him sooner! He and his staff are wonderful!

These days it is very rare to find such a kind, caring doctor as Dr. Maxwell. He is truly dedicated to the well-being of his patients as is his entire staff who have been nothing short of helpful. I have had 2 other family doctors in the past 12 years and neither of them even compare to Dr. Maxwell. He actually listens to what you are saying. My last Dr. even questioned why I was exercising and never told me the results of my blood test. With Dr Maxwell he gave me copies of the results and went over them with me explaining each test. I could go on all day about Dr. Maxwell. Excellent.

Dr. Craig Maxwell is one of the best doctors that I have ever gone to. He knows his field of medicine…very intelligent…never a question he could not answer medically.
